Who knew that searching for jobs could be so tiring, my dear readers? I feel like all I’ve done for the past two days is read the websites of the companies I’ll be applying to this fall. And I haven’t even done the really hard stuff yet, namely my resume and cover letter.
In addition to all this job searching, I have been working on my thesis that I have to write for school. All my source materials are in Russian, so I have to go through lots and lots of (sometimes) dense Russian writing.
Just so this post does not solely turn out to be an angst-filled complaint, let me conclude by showing you a photo of my breakfast this morning: pancakes with Nutella.

Argh. I hear ya, today is being an anguishing day. What kind of a job are you looking for?
Listen, it might seem like an exhausting task to do your reading in Russian, but you´ll really benefit from it in the end

I’m applying for loads of investment banking jobs. Most banks train you for about 6 weeks before you start, so they accept applications from non-business school people like me. I’ll obviously write the best applications I can, but I’m afraid that I won’t get any offers!
Thanks for the Nutella advice – I’ll have to try that.
